About Me:

I have been making glass and ceramic mosaic works of art for over 20 years. Inspired by nature and myth my works are both narrative and decorative. I like to use a bold colour palette, in particular golds, reds and oranges to make dynamic pieces. Recently I have started to gild glass and acrylic with metal leaf to use in my work.
I attempt to illustrate oneness, a unity with the universe where all things are connected,
resulting in beautiful uplifting art works which appeal to my growing number of
collectors around the world.

Did you know...

... Each piece of mosaic material, whether it is glass, ceramic, or stone is cut and shaped by hand, making the art of mosaic a slow and painstaking process. This means that each work has been made with precision, love and care.
... I am completely obsessed with flocks of birds especially starlings, and I watch murmurations of starlings frequently on the Somerset Levels.
... I am lucky to live on a hill so I can watch the sun go down every evening and if I am up in time I watch the sunrise too!
... I am fascinated by creation myths and like making up my own.
... I am also intrigued by apocalyptic stories and often use a flock of black birds in my work as a symbolic reference to the end days.
... As you may have already gathered I love the dark and the light!
